It's because of major company's taking hundreds of thousands of gallons of water from it per year in order to put it in brine's which is a lake of some sort where people extract minerals especially lithium (used for many electronics) , the sea level drops by about 4 feet or 1.2192 meters each year, and this should be increasing with demand for lithium or electronics.
