The Dorking cockerel is one of the oldest and most historic chicken breeds in the UK. Brought over by the Romans, these birds are famous for their unique five-toed feet, stocky bodies, and exquisite white meat. They are so iconic that a massive 10-foot sculpture stands on a roundabout in their namesake town of Dorking, Surrey, where I'm from !
