A planetary parasite, born by pure chance from the depths of space between game worlds, Z is a psychotic being who aids Kit, Kaboodle, Gobbles and Flappers in their mission to preserve the Gameoverse solely for the sake of his own intrigue.
Z was once a small unconcious blob of cyan mass floating through the Gameoverse, until he eventually stuck himself to the world of Ultra the Porcupine (totally different than Sonic guys trust me) and fed off the world, consuming it and taking the hero, Ultra as his vessel. Eventually, the main crew comes to planet expecting to do recon on the normal world of Ultra and make an attempt to stop Ultra while the bad guys who I forgot the names of try to help him. After arriving, they both quickly realize something is wrong with the world and encounter Z. Z decides to play with his new guests, resulting in a temporary alliance between the teams for the sake of their own survival. Eventually, after a long sequence of chases, Z corners the heroes as Miss Information and that paper jackass do the classic thing villains do after an alliance with the hero and leave them to die. They try to fight, but Z in his own domain is too strong for them to beat. They have a moment where they prepare to face death together, and the bond between these wildly different characters piques Z's interest. He forces himself into their minds to discover what this bond is and how it came to be. In doing so, Z discovers what the Gameoverse is, in all its vastness with thousands of different worlds and souls. Z becomes deeply interested in such an idea, and pulls a 180 on the heroes, deciding to become their ally so that he can play with the thousands of worlds all across the Gameoverse.
