This is my rant on Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt being a knockoff of Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi:
How is this show even a ripoff of Cartoon Network’s Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi? This is stupid.
1: While Stocking’s hair looks like Yumi’s, Panty’s hair does not look like Ami’s.
2: Numerous people on DeviantArt claim that Panty, Stocking, Garterbelt, Scanty, Kneesocks, etc. ripped off Ami, Yumi, Kaz, Julie, Jang-Kang, Teriyaki, etc.’s character designs, voices, animation style, etc., but that is not true in both Kolton and my opinion.
3: There are no demon characters in Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, but there are demon characters in Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.
4: Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt has swearing and suggestive sexual content, but Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi does not.
5: Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt parodies adult animation like South Park and Drawn Together, but Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi is not included.
6: The cast lives in a different town, but the latter lives in their own home with Kaz.
Rating: 2/10 - That is certainly not true!
