No, it was pretty odorless. The toy itself smelled like plastic really bad. More like a vinyl shower curtain fresh out of the bag. I think of that toy now every time I smell that smell.
My brother had one too. It was amazing how much abuse it took—and how easily we were entertained, pre-Atari. Once PAC-MAN fever hit our house, everything else was in the garage sale pile.
