The half life of carbon-14 is so short that even if the world were millions of years old, nothing would be carbon dated as millions of years old.

Carbon-14 has been detected inside diamonds supposedly billions of years old.

The dating methods that the figures that they used are based on unverifiable assumptions.

half life of carbon-14 = about 5730 years. Carbon dating isnt perfectly accurate but it is within a 1-3% margin because it's not exact, carbon 14 can decay at any time but statistically thats how slow it decays.

So no carbon 14 isn't deciding to suddenly all decay at once, its from thousands at least of samples.
