The difference between a religion and a cult is that a religion is a cult with more followers spread across a large area. Most religions start out as cults and as the ideas spread they become religions.

The church my parents bring me to is so cultish to me. They’ll say something and then after say ‘this is the word of Jesus Amen?’ And everyone says Amen, it’s just so…hivemindy to me
