Starting in early april 2026 at the beginning of the new MS_memer_group website by 32bit, a large chunk of users moved off imgflip to the new website. Almost immediately some made legitimate switches over to the new site as an escape from the brutal wasteland that was the original imgflip stream. Users begun choosing sides and fighting over what community was better. The original MSmg defense was the old established culture and stream preservation while the new site was an albeit clunky sitemod-free alternative. Both were right in their own regards, but as the weeks carried on tensions kept rising as users became more defensive. The MSmg site begun turtling as the new MSmg forums mods begun banning people they didn't like. There were even a couple brigading attempts. MSmgsite was developing its own culture and dramas of its own, but was damaged and is mostly disconnected from the original stream.
