If everyone deserves equal rights why give some increased protection

“Increased protection” in this case means “gays have very low rights and increased protection means going from 10% rights to 30% rights” if that makes sense

Or we could keep marriage as something outside the state and stop giving so much of a f**k who people marry or associate with
