One thing I wanna say is that the music is really good. Obviously they incorporate the video game's music, but they do it in a more subtle way than you would think. The music just sounds good too. Also the animation is really good.
I appreciated how Bowser didn't try to convince Bowser Junior to be good and just turned evil again.
The movie did the Dog Man thing where instead of adapting just one story, they adapted multiple different ones. They got Galaxy (obviously), Sunshine, 3D World, and Odyssey in there.
Also they put references for all the soyboy chuds to get. They got Game & Watch, Pikmin, R.O.B., and Fox. I legit hit this when Fox showed up.
