Seriously, why?

The Left, in this country anyway, learned a long time ago that if they promise BIG things to POC, in an effort to win their votes in whatever election they're trying to win, can just forget said promises after getting those votes and ignore the POC until their votes are needed, again. It's cyclic virtue-signaling. We only care about you when we need your vote... Otherwise, leave us the hell alone and so as we say, not as we do. 🙄
