The figures pictured above and what they're known for:
1) Antonio Gramsci - Taught that the ruling group in society keeps power by making its beliefs seem "normal, natural, and common sense" through schools, libraries, media, and religion and that Marxists needed to take over those institutions to push Marxist propaganda.
2) Michel Foucault - Taught that power is everywhere and works through institutions that guide behavior in society, (schools, libraries, media, and religion) and it shapes how we think about truth, normal behavior, and even ourselves and what is accepted as "normal" has just been forced onto society by whoever's in power. (He used this as his excuse to sexually groom and abuse little boys)
3) Herbert Marcuse - Taught that people in wealthy, modern societies seem comfortable with systems that limit freedom because they benefit from them and so he suggested society should be "less tolerant" of ideas that "reinforce oppression" i.e. Marxism.
4) Karl Marx - you know this lazy ahh mf already.
