i try not to go for "mary sue" ocs

they have no weakness sure, but they don't actively go around fighting people or are main characters, or even have plot armor, if you're powerful enough, you CAN beat them, but the ceiling for that is high

Sure, giving a character THAT much power while also making them nice in some way is pretty decent, but you have to add at least one Mary Sue villain to fight them. No normal villains, because otherwise, they're too easy to beat in a fight.
