To think some people were flat out hypocritical, two-faced and had no respect for anyone who moved onto different things when they originally wanted to be an artist to begin with. Heck, I told someone that I originally wanted to be an artist, and that a teacher told me I'm a potential architect, and that I stopped being an artist since. They mocked me for it. Not to mention the attempts at dA alternatives really didn't end well due to being exposed for having done problematic shit. Lastly there's the r/youngpeopledeviantart and r/oldpeopledeviantart. They are ageist subreddits. Not to mention that this whole thing started bcs of Twitter user who, as it turns out, was a fan of Amphibia (pictured here with username: https://images-wixmp-ed30a86b8c4ca887773594c2.wixmp.com/f/d3a82e2a-4e42-4c5d-a12c-1571b13ee1ee/dlh2f0o-0ccd52f5-9298-4a90-9076-01dec4b10be8.png?token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJzdWIiOiJ1cm46YXBwOjdlMGQxODg5ODIyNjQzNzNhNWYwZDQxNWVhMGQyNmUwIiwiaXNzIjoidXJuOmFwcDo3ZTBkMTg4OTgyMjY0MzczYTVmMGQ0MTVlYTBkMjZlMCIsIm9iaiI6W1t7InBhdGgiOiIvZi9kM2E4MmUyYS00ZTQyLTRjNWQtYTEyYy0xNTcxYjEzZWUxZWUvZGxoMmYwby0wY2NkNTJmNS05Mjk4LTRhOTAtOTA3Ni0wMWRlYzRiMTBiZTgucG5nIn1dXSwiYXVkIjpbInVybjpzZXJ2aWNlOmZpbGUuZG93bmxvYWQiXX0.pPN1emEj2sYFyyPmYkgoOIyGCZYN_m39oCGR79Lo5V8). Sometimes I'm glad those people will never get what they want. They don't deserve it anyway.
In the end, not everyone has to have certain skills to be online in general. Whatever mentality this is, I don't like it.
