That's not entirely true Millie Vanillie.

Nuclear reactors are increasingly targeted or occupied during modern armed conflicts, transforming critical energy infrastructure into dangerous,, potential "environmental bombs". Attacks, bombings, or sieges on nuclear sites, such as those in Ukraine (Zaporizhzhia, Chernobyl), Iraq, and Iran, risk releasing vast radioactive inventories, creating severe environmental and safety hazards.

Also, An EMP/solar storm ( Carrington Event) would be high risk, causing a massive surge, destroying large transformers and electronics. This causes a total loss of off-site power.
The main risk is not an explosion, but failure of cooling systems for the decay heat, requiring diesel generators. However, these generators may also be vulnerable to an EMP if not properly shielded.

So it's more like
Low risk
High reward
Extreme consequences if something goes wrong

Overall I am a proponent of nuclear energy, nuclear fission is 8,000 times more efficient than traditional fossil fuels and is essential for achieving carbon-neutral goals.

Like, the waste output is minimal, the radiation is barely even problematic, it takes up SO little space, and it’s efficient as all f**k

Wind energy kills a lot of birds
Solar energy is way too expensive and the manufacturing causes way too much pollution

Nuclear energy ftw
