A suit designed for an animatronic endo skeleton (the robot part) that has spring locks, a very risky method that allows the suit to immediately clamp onto the animatronic body via hooks with spring held locks. However they are very unreliable and can fail causing anyone alive wearing the suit when it fails to have hundreds of hooks to slam into their body puncturing their body eventually causing them to bleed to death

why would someone make this instead of using a regular fursuit

Because it was designed for the purpose of being able to quickly swap between pre programmed robot to an actor in a suit quickly
