I thought people just called him Fleetway.

fleetway is the name of the comic producers
the comic he comes from is called sonic the comic

But I always see people just refer to him as Fleetway. I don't think I've seen him call Fleetway Super Sonic before.

I didn't know about Classic, now that I think about it. What's his lore actually? Is he just an alternate dimension Sonic, or is that just the modern take?

classic is a younger version of sonic from a split timeline not an alternate universe
aka young sonic from a timeline of events that dont match the mainline modern timeline (adventure 1 and onward) but not a different universe
