What happened to his tail
Did a science accident happen

something related to his bullies that im still thinking of
im thinking that one of his devices went on fire whhen they destroyed it and burnt his tail off

also the scar on his eye would come from an encounter with metal sonic in which miles would tweak metal sonic to be stronger behind eggmans back and miles would watch metal land that hit and thats the start of miles starting to obsess over machines knowing that HE was the reason sonic got hit after eggman tried fighting him for all this time
