Eggyhead jumped back out of the portal, landing in front of Peyton and Inkmatas, as well as Omeletta and Amber.
"There, it's done-" Eggyhead cut himself short as he saw the other two. "Oh- hey guys... do you, uh-"
"We know, Eggy." Omeletta said. "Peyton told us everything herself."
"Yeah. She said a lot of horrible things about you, too!" Amber said with a chuckle.
"Amber!" Peyton exclaimed. "Ignore her..."
Inkmatas jumped onto Eggyhead and hugged him before saying anything.
"Welcome back, Eggy!" Inkmatas exclaimed. Eggy smiled.
"Well, I guess I have to share Eggy again, big sigh..." Omeletta jokingly said in a melodramatic tone.
There was a moment of silent gratitude as they all looked at eachother and smiled.
"Oh shit, it's late." Omeletta said, looking at her phone. "Or, early, I guess."
"What's the time?" Amber asked.
"1:37 AM. February 14th, now." Omeletta replied. "Happy Valentines guys."
"Happy Valentines!" Inkmatas exclaimed. "I can't wait to tell Kuto that!"
Amber stared back and forth at Eggyhead and Peyton, making it intentionally obvious to push them along. Eggyhead and Peyton locked eyes. They came together in an embrace right there. Inkmatas, Omeletta, and Amber clapped.
"Happy Valentines, Eggy." Peyton said quietly.
"Happy Valentines day Peyton." Eggy replied softly.
Eggyhead looked to the sky, as if at fate, no, at the deity he served. The God he loved, who gave him all these gifts. Because he was a faithful and loving servant to Him.
"Thank you... so much." Eggyhead whispered with a smile and tear on his face.
