neurotypical ego death: the world doesn’t revolve around me; neurodivergent ego death: no matter what i erase and remold about myself i will always be too different for someone else’s likings. the world is full of hate and cynicism and if i’m not pure to myself and take other’s opinions as gospel then it becomes all too easy to despise myself. i am imperfect and it shows, as everyone else is.
