Where the ability originated from is i was reading facts about citrine to make her ability and I found out if you heat up amethysts they replicate the color of citrine so the ability is kinda like cloning but not really she needs a lot of amethyst so the ability works properly, about her body weight amount of amethyst, the way you tell her apart from her amethyst clone is how you actually tell the differants between burnt amethyst and citrine(it’s not there visually but lore wise, what your skin is made of ditermens the name of the 13(so let’s say your name is amethyst, that means your skin is made of amethyst while under your skin it’s the good ol’ flesh everyone knows and loves))
Citrine’s passive
This also originates when I was reading about citrine, it’s believed that citrine make you more happy etc. and gets rid of phobias etc. so her passive is that it’s hard for her to feel negative emotions, so she’s always got hope, and optimism but at funerals and stuff etc. she feels negative emotions cuz that event has a strong enough effect on her to feel sad, and sometimes she has to pretend that she’s feeling negative emotions because it doesn’t have a strong enough effect on her so in general, it’s hard for her to have negative emotions which is both in my opinion a curse and blessing at moments
