While I don't know exact ratios, just hazlenuts and chocolate chips. That's it.
We (my fam) like less sweet, so we use Ghirardelli semisweet chocolate chip, and now maybe even the high% cacoa ones cause we really like those...
So first you toast the hazlenuts in the oven. This helps them release the natural oils, importance for blending.
Then, in a vitamix or something of similar nature, you blend it up with the chocolate chips.
I don't remember if the chips is with the hazlenuts or after you've turned them into hazlenut butter....
