okay, so i have tips to help.
first off, and this is the most important one, does your internal sense of gender shift over time? this can be male-female, female to enby, etc.

I don’t know, I’ve never really had opportunities to experiment. But I do always feel happy when people use fem and sometimes masc terms of endearment or other things

For meat least, it’s not something you “experiment” with. You wake up, ask yourself , what gender do I feel matched me today? If your response changes every so often, there’s a high chance you are genderfluid.

I understand that, I’ve just never been able to experiment with openly expressing myself as fem really, my parents are kinda transphobic and I don’t have money to try feminine clothes to see how I feel

neither do i. im broke asf with transphoibic parents. again, just because you dont openly present yourself as fem or masc, that doesnt make youany less valid.
