So basically, the stories are set in a world of superpowered people, and follow a group of three superpowered teens who discover that one of them had been abused by a family member, who had then been sentenced to death for his actions. However, the three friends discovered that the criminal plans to escape prison in a week while everyone is distracted by an important youth-league soccer match, so they recruit two of the local team’s players, who are also superpowered, to help them, and they agree, but not after one of the players, who has tiger powers, almost loses his temper at the discovery that the criminal intends to kill.
The third story is set in the police station, 5 days after the criminal was arrested, and the five friends are babysitting four first graders - one of whom is reading Grey’s Anatomy, much to the chagrin of the tiger boy, as that kid had caused him a lot of trouble the previous week, plus struggling to function, running on just three minutes of sleep, a coffee pot, six cans of Coke, and pure spite.
While everyone tries to calm him down, a journalist and a cop enter the room with their respective kids, bringing with them two tote bags full of handmade onesies, amusing everyone. But then the town sheriff and his deputy arrive, and turn the intelligent kid from a walking OSHA violation to a combat analyst, and allow the tiger boy to spend 15 minutes in the nearby rage room and destroy the practice dummies there, which he does with a flourish and an improved combat experience thanks to that kid, inspiring everyone to improve their combat skills so that they can prepare for the upcoming battle against the criminal.
