ok so i minimized the game for a few minutes, right? and i'm in an ancient city (which is relevant to the glitch) as well. i come back, and every deepslate block connected to a skulk block was plastered with a compass image? and every single skulk block kept flashing a turtle egg decal (think of like a sonar)?? i have NEVER seen that happen before. i do have video evidence, but i cannot show it at the moment. it happened while i played on pc, although i'm not sure if its relevant.

It's usually a texture issue caused by the game thinking you've left but you're actually still in the game, making things glitch and change textures. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.

Not the exact same but like a wooden pickaxe texture appeared on a bunch of stone blocks near me when I minimized the game for a bit
