Some of the claims about Gnosticism are also incorrect in how they interpret what Gnostics mean so the accuracy there doesn't add up either & the Gnostic view is much closer to Calvinism than they realize. In the election part the first statement is a blatant lie on what Calvinism believes. They deny any effectual calls for those who don't repent because if a person can comprehend the basics & reject it then TULIP dies. The entire section on election is bloated trash. Calvin himself was presenting things in proper context then his successor Theodore Beza added most of what's in there & twisted it. Had what Calvin was saying been presented it would've produced humility but Beza's additions create the most insufferably smug group of professed Christians in history & they don't see it. They give lip service to grace & humility but show very little grace to anyone even each other, don't see it as by grace if man can receive the Holy Spirit's call by an act of the will & 4 point Calvinists are getting there but still need to tone it down a notch, 3 pointers show humility & grace but 5 point Calvinists are some of the most ungracious, smug, selfish, self-deceived blasphemers in history. They see those traits in individuals in every group but their own. On the knowledge section we have more weasel language. They don't believe anyone who isn't regenerated first can comprehend even the basics so "those who believe" are the the regenerated cyborgs foreordained beforehand. i have yet to see evidence of the relational aspect with God in 5 point Calvinism & 4 point is still a bit too legalistic to have much. It's all a "secret decree" they grasp unlike the "man-centered goat" free will believing Arminians, Molinists & Provisionists through TULIP; Reformed pastors & the Institutes act like they know this decree & anything they can't answer they say we must remember our lack of understanding yet they know all the rest & if you question their expository you get a mix of cognitive dissonance, fear mongering, gaslighting, shame tactics, deflection & projection in your face. The Institutes are full of these wicked communication styles exercised profusely by narcissists & psychopaths. You're accused of being vain, wicked, foolish etc if you refute it or question it or they claim it comes from a spirit of pride & blasphemy. They teach a blatant blasphemy then when you repeat what they just said they insist they don't mean it that; way to project guilt onto you & it works. If you have reverence this teaching is the most dangerous thing in history to your soul. Satan has to get clever with reverent Christians who reject Woke/liberal theology, name-it claim-it/prosperity crap, seeker-sensitive/easy believism, extreme Arminianism, Catholic/Orthodox etc. Satan will stop at nothing to take as many to hell as he can or at least rob abundant life. GO TO GOD DIRECTLY IN PRIVATE PRAYER 7 CHECK ALL THINGS BY GOD ALONE. YOU WON'T REGRET IT & HE WILL ACTUALLY BE SOVEREIGN IN YOUR CHOICES INSTEAD OF CALVINIST LEADERS.
