disliking ai is not a hot take

i'm not fully anti ai, i just feel like it should be limited and controlled

i dont want to trust the government with regulating ai because economic regulations tend to suck, i just dont know any better alternative

i mean you arent wrong i just feel like there should be an entity separate from the government that can regulate and control ai

if there weren't so many big ai corporations favored by the government and there were more smaller ai companies then i think customers could more freely choose which companies are more ethical and then you wouldn't need a regulatory apparatus
