WARNING, Immense amounts of yapping below:
Well, it mostly has to do with the content of the episodes, sure they look amazing, but Episode 7 only has 2 "big reveals" and a literal Macguffin, both of those reveals I guessed before the episode even released. The first "reveal" being that Nori was still alive, but if you were paying attention to Glitch's Youtube community tab, they released an image showing both Nori and Yeva standing in the entrance to the big cathedral, which brought me to reasonably think that they would both be in there, and subsequently still be alive (I got that half right, idk if Yeva is still alive). And the second being that Tessa was actually Cyn the entire time, which if you were paying attention in Episode 6, there were multiple hints to that fact, specifically her failing at cracking the "HUMAN made security that this HUMAN can control" (Dead End, timestamp 4:29), and the line "J, mind my ship" (timestamp 2:46) which goes against what we know Tessa's personality to be like as established in Episode 5, which brought me to question why her personality is slightly more "controlling" and that led me to guess that she was actually Cyn (that one tbf was a lucky guess on my part, but still). And Episode 8 has ZERO major reveals or plot points, all of it just being the main trio of Uzi, N, and V duking it out against Cyn and J, and it is so clear that it is rushed because of all the questions left over after wards, a few of those being:
1.Why were the spires built?
2.How did V survive and subsequently tame a sentinel?
3.Is Cyn a separate entity from the Absolute Solver and, if so, what happened to her?
4.How did Uzi end up in space after falling through the hole from episode 7?
5.How did N know she was up there and her location?
6.Who killed Nori?
7.How did V get into the bunker to kill Doll’s parents in the flashback in episode 3?
8. Who is the "Serial Designation S" mentioned on the paper Uzi picks up in episode 4?
(I have a ton more, but I'll spare you those)
It is very apparent to me that these final episodes were rushed out the door so they could put all their money towards something like TADC, instead of a want to give the fans the ending we wanted. So that's why I think that.
