it's actually really simple :3

bisexual means that you're attracted by more than one gender

pansexual means that you're attracted by ALL genders without preference

(and no, they're not the same thing, they would be if the only genders were male and female but there actually are many more)

Okay but we're talking about sexuality not "genderuality" and humans have two sexes and what they're attracted to is based on sex and not gender

We don't base our sexual attractions on stuff like nonbinary etc., sexuality is an innate evolutionary trait and comes from the two human sexes

So bisexual and pansexual basically have no functional difference between the two unless you're talking about preferences

basically nothing, if we were being completely accurate, pan would like more than two genders while bi would like two. however, several people use it interchangeably. typically these would come without preference, but its a hassle of figuring out what exactly your preference is, so people still use these as an umbrella.

Bi - attraction to both if not all genders
Pan - attraction to someone despite gender
