Fair point.
Many Sonic games, especially the classic games and boost games, are built around memorizing the layout of the levels and improving your timing with each consecutive attempt. Unleashed is definitely one of the weaker boost games to me, which makes sense, given it was the first one with that formula. And yeah, the werehog levels are ass. The combat is okay, but mashy, and the platforming is not just difficult, but also kinda boring. Interesting concept, poor application. This is one of the visually prettiest Sonic games, but the gameplay itself is very unforgiving. Later games like the two Generations titles improve on the formula drastically, though not without their own flaws.
