Yeah, and on what you consume. Like, the conservatives I hear most of are Trump and Manticore, and both would rather insult their political opponents instead of battling the problems of the country.

because people like manticore care more about causing problems (literally his stated goal) than actually bringing about positive change. i live in the south, probably over 90% of people here are right wing, and i have met maybe one or two every that act kind of like manticore

Understandable. I live in Frankfurt, a city that is basically the New York of Germany, including politically. I’m mostly surrounded by liberals, and the most right wings are either centrist right or Nazis.

It’s nice to know that there are still conservatives who use arguments instead of insults, but it also sucks that the US has a president who would rather insult liberals than fix the real problems of the US.

trump actually does do a lot of stuff, not necessarily things a lot of people agree with, but he does get more done than really any of our last few presidents

About our discussion, I talked to my parents about it, and I think the best example why I’m wrong is Japan. Its population is very conservative but also chill af.
