y'all why do most people can't tell the difference between a recorder and a flute? a recorder is what you hold vertically, and is plastic or wood, while a flute is the one you hold horizontally, and is metal. even though i have no instruments (except my keyboard and my recorder) i can tell which is which. this is a flute; this is a recorder
