It's difficult for me to choose just one. I would say the ones I grew up with the most was the 1938, 1951 version and the 1988 version as well. The 1951 version is highly superior.
But at the same time the other ones also hit home for me. An American Christmas Carol with Henry Winkler and Ebenezer with Jack Palance is an interesting take on the classic story.
I feel like I also have to give credit to the Silent Films only because they set the ground work for the physical performances of the actors and some of the special effects for the future films that came after the 1913 version. I have to give credit to The Silent Film Era.
It's almost impossible for me to choose just one or two films. All thirteen films are
unique in their own way.
