What if I told you that Romans 9 isn't meant to be the filter the entire Bible is read through like you were brainwashed by your betters to do. And what if I also told you that God has mercy on those who receive Him by an act of their will by placing faith in Christ & repenting of their sins and not necessarily on some reformed group of "elect," snot-nosed, smug little Pharisees before the foundations of the earth like yourself. If God wanted man to choose to receive Him then He has that right as much as He has the right to do the deterministic chessboard system you adhere to. And what if I also told you He is no less sovereign doing it that way & you're just too "educated" in mind knowledge only minus relationship to grasp the reality.
