ENTRY POINT — BIOMETRIC DOOR
The elevator opens to a sleek corridor. White lights. A biometric scanner hums beside a steel door.
Sue:
“Retina, fingerprint, heat signature. I can spoof two, not three.”
Ducc’s floating hand extends, grabbing a metal pipe from the ceiling effortlessly.
Ducc:
“Heat signature solved.”
He holds the warm pipe against the scanner.
Sue:
“…Okay, that’s clever. Gordon?”
Gordon pulls out a small device from his HEV suit, slots it into the panel. The scanner flickers.
Kira:
“Someone’s coming.”
Footsteps. Two guards approach, chatting.
Vadrina (whisper):
“I’ll handle them.”
She moves like a shadow—one precise chop to a pressure point, another guard grabbed and gently—but firmly—lowered to the ground.
Ducc (impressed):
“Didn’t even mess up his posture.”
Sue:
“Door’s open. Move.”
