literally all parts of the easiest families

you just touch any of these instruments and it makes sound but brass and woodwinds you have to do like 3 things at once to make sound

unfortunately I'm on trumpet now because my marching band needed trumpets when I joined. Our Mello player (marching french horn) is graduating this year, but since I'm lead trumpet (sophomore btw) I can't switch off to mello

the other trumpets except for one don't even know how to play their f**king music. the only one that did is graduating this year as well, leaving me with 2 that don't even know how to read music

oh my god one of my school’s beginner trumpet players just somehow performed a concert without knowing how to play a f**king second-line G

one of them (junior btw with prior experience) literally used a fingering chart for A on the staff

it’s literally just, what? first and second valve? first and third? i’ve had ts memorized for years and i don’t even play trumpet

she was also our only second trumpet for like the first half of the season. THE SENIOR LITERALLY STARTED TRUMPET LAST JUNE AND OUTPLAYS, OUTRANGES, AND OUTTONES HER! AND HE'S IN BOTH WRESTLING AND YEARBOOK, SO HIS SCHEDULE IS PACKED! HOW THE HELL IS HE BETTER 😭😭😭
