I don't find it particularly funny

The joke is that the vindicator is checking on his kid, making sure he is sleeping, before he starts a raid. But the kid wants to join the raid.

I appreciate you explaining it to me, but i feel like many brave kids would want to help the good guys and kill the bad guys, so its not really suprising and not exactly funny. One thing thats almost required to be funny is that you don't expect it. Jokes arent as funny when you see them coming.
