Calm before the storm

I won’t write much because so many interactions happenned today but yet not this many were very interesting, and i don’t reallly remember any of hem.

Today, i was really happy i had Leo’s Note… MOSTLY because i got held hostage in the library by 5 peoples at once for a good 15 minutes. I felt overwhelmed ngl. I remember, a wise woman once said :

In the morning, fun fact, i met Johan in the store, trying to buy a CD but wasn’t sure about buying.
He dabbed me up and asked how i was doing. We didn’t talk much because all he had was a 1 hour break (because he also works in the music school of the city where the Cultura is located). Btw, he didn’t end up buying the CD because Mathews phone was out of battery so he couldn’t make him listen to a sample of the album. I might see Johan tomorow again.

At some point, it just a fun little fact, nothing important, Mathew gets me in the logistic part of the store to get price tags, and Timothy is openning a big box, and it goes like this :

Timothy : Hmm I wonder what can it be. Might be a small ass book in a big ass box.

*he opens*

Timothy : HAHA WHAT THE HELL ?! LOOK AT THAT !!

*he raises about his head a pocket book*

I laugh my ass off, mostly because the box was very big and it was the only thing in the box, a pocket book.

I didn’t do as big sales as yesterday, like no Cube or anything big, almost sold a piano but it didnt go.
I sold tinier things from books to music sheets holders.
We did a lot of price tagging and anti-robbing on stuff we received for tomorow, since tomorow is Black Friday.
I can’t believe it.
I’m about to be in the middle of everything during the biggest promotion day of the year.
Mathew said while he was talking to Timothy ‘’I’m actually glad that we got Alex with us, because i would not be able to keep up alone’’. Yes maybe forgot to mention, tomorow, its only Mathew and I, no Leo to help us.

At some point, while Mathew is on lunch break and while i’m working, i get an old woman that is looking for 2 dvds. And sadly for her, we had both…. Completly out of stock on the website and in the store. She thanked me for trying to help her. Now few hours later, like the hour before the end of my shift, we open a box with dvd restocks, and guess what ? I laughed my ass, i found both the dvds she asked for. Poor lady.

We restocked shelves and all, helped clients…
I jumpscared and got jumpscared by an employee that was getting out of the staff area while i was entering, and we laughed our ass off and she said ‘’Why’d you came in like a cowboy’’ because while i was walking, i was trying not to loose my loose pant but she didnt know.
We then went to restock the posters that are super close to the library. It was a dangerous mission close to the frontline between the Gaming section and the library where hostages gets taken regurlarly from any sections of this land. And obviously it would have been to beautiful if we managed to fully restock the poster holder without being held hostage.
Somehow managed to help 2 people find the exact book they were looking for (3 if we count one that Mathew was trying to help that i managed to help).
When Mathew was helping two kids find a romance book as a gift for their mom (very wholesome cause they were like 13 and 10 i think) i finished filling the poster holder to the brim.
Mathew was kinda surprised to see i managed to fit all the over-stock in the same cardboard box.
We then price tagged some news for tomorow, and it was my time to go.

Before going, i took an angled jack cable with me, and bought it for 20€.
Why ?
Yall know i have this project of buying an electric jaguar guitar kit ? Well to use the guitar at its full potential, i would need to use an angled jack cable, otherwise the regular jack would block the whammy bar and it would also stop my hand from doing big strumming movements (which isn’t really supposed to happen but if the feeling takes me, it could stop me).
And after this, i totally forgot i had this, i got to the funk band rehearsal. Thankfully the director of my music school let me borrow a trumpet, charge free (he’s so nice) till i get my trumpet back.
It was nice to play but it felt weird to play another brand and model of trumpet.

Anyway, that pretty much it about today.
it’s 23:12 (do you really need me to convert it at this point ? fine, its 11:13 pm) as i am writing this, and i got a big day tomorow so….
