Day 4, 11/09/25
A very bad surprise
This morning i wake up with a ‘’BANG’’…. Like literally, because i was sleeping on the very end of the bed, my mom got up and so the bed (that can transform into a couch) tilted on my side.
Otherwise i slept very well and it was the first time in a week that we slept a little more in the morning.
I was happy in terms of morale because i was already thinking about later in the day when i will be able to play the Suzuki, then i showered and washed my hairs that i didnt wash in like 5 days
(due to lack of time).
We ate then my mom got into some phonecalls and collecting the statements from her friends that wrote all they could remember bad about my father, then we decided to go to the house to start cleaning.
We arrive at the house, and my moms objective is to clean the kitchen, she gives us my bro and i the mission of cleaning the bottom of the walls, which is done fast, and then i clean the windows.
But my mom, oh boi she got it very hard. In the kitchen, she discovered :
-Rotten rice
-Rotten couscous
-atleast 30 years worth of dust
-bad quality paint that was peeling off
-Mold and moistures
Then we discovered on the heating things (i dont know how they are called) A LOT OF DUST, but like if it was never cleaned since the day they were put in this house. And so we try to remove the top but we cant because its very damaged, and we cant afford damaging it more.
So my mom finishes cleaning the kitchen after 3 hours of work, and we decide to go back to the temporary house because she had enough. In the meantime she sent a message to the landlord about the heat things and the fact she never has seen a house this dirty before.
When we arrive she go shower because she felt dirty, and while she showers, the landlord answers.
I tell my mom she answered the message and so she comes and reads, and she turns red (out of rage)
The landlord sent :
Landlord : Hello ma’am, for the (heat things) you can’t remove the top because they are too damaged. You can buy this brush at LEROY MERLIN for only 10€ and it can clean them very good, its made for these. I wish you goodluck.
My mom tries to stop herself from answering the landlord because she knows shes gonna write bad stuff. She start tearing up because in all her 20 years with my father, she felt like a maid, and when she finally breaks free, someone else treats her like a maid.
She stares blantly in the void…..
Mom : F**k her i’m answering, I HAD ENOUGH !!!
