Not everyone follows that. You have to have an argument that appeals to a common higher standard. Like that children from homosexual households do worse in life.

I think its just plain rude to say that someone is childish for loving who they love.

Rude is different from hateful, and as I said in a different comment, I would only call the TQ part childish.

The American Psychiatric Association (APA) was the primary organization that classified homosexuality as a mental disorder in its official diagnostic manuals for several decades. The classification was as follows:
DSM-I (1952): Homosexuality was listed as a "sociopathic personality disturbance".
DSM-II (1968): Homosexuality continued to be listed, but was reclassified under the category of "personality disorders" as a "sexual deviation".

Ya do realize those were from decades ago right? back when things like segregation were still around. times have changed. Back then,there was explicit bias and discrimination against minorites suchs as African americans and the lgbtq community.
