Immediate Reactions & Dialogue
Spamton freezes, mid-glitch. Then, with an odd half-smile and a crack of human feeling, he murmurs plainly:
Spamton (soft, honest): “I— I didn’t think anyone would… remember me. Thanks. For once, not a [deal].”
Then the brackets return, splintering his words:
“[[LAST—LIMITED OFFER—EXIT—BUY—BYE—CLICK]]”
Luigi (timid, voice breaking): “S-Spamton… be careful out there.”
Virian (sniffling, voice loud): “You caused so much drama but… you helped sometimes. Bye, spammy.”
Middle Finger Cat flicks an irreverent paw and then — uncharacteristically — leans forward: “Don’t sell your soul on the way out. Or at least don’t sell mine.”
Golden Freddy (soft): “Travel safe.”
Spamton steps forward with quick little jerks, glances at each face as if scanning for a sale, then something like sorrow flickers.
“[[EXIT—THANK—YOU—DEAL COMPLETED—]]”
He walks to the Dock of Shame with the weird little gait he always had. At the edge he turns once, and for a fragile second his voice is human again:
Spamton (quiet): “Maybe there’s more than KROMER. Maybe there’s… rest.”
Then he steps off. The boat pushes away into the dark water. The group watches in near silence until the boat becomes a dark smudge against the black.
