He begins tossing marshmallows.

The entire beach goes quiet.

Ashley collapses to her knees.

BOOM.

The fire explodes upward in black-blue flame. Goosebumps across EVERYONE.

Ashley is forcibly lifted by her shadow.
Then dropped. Silent.

Just a girl now. No more whispers.

Mewo (suddenly serious):
“The binding has broken.
Ashley is free.
But the shadow that held her…
is now loose.”

Even Chris is quiet.

Ashley steps onto the Boat of Losers.
She stares back—not angry, not evil—just relieved.

Ashley (softly to Cassie):
“Keep him out…”

The boat drifts into darkness.
The shadow does not go with her.

Nocturne’s influence now uncontrolled.

Ashley gone.

Ritual Rulers shaken to their core.

Wembry terrified.

Cassie begins forming a secret alliance against the shadow.
