Day 9 – Challenge: Paintball Splatter

Mewo floats above a massive, white, maze-filled arena. The walls gleam blindingly under the sun.

“Welcome, campers!” he says, swirling a rainbow-colored smoothie. “Today’s challenge is Paintball Splatter! BIG SHOTS are yellow, Ritual Rulers are purple. Cover as much area as possible with your team color. Get hit? Timeout for one minute. Last one standing… wins. Ready… aim… SPLAT!”

Arena Chaos – Early Phase

BIG SHOTS:

Steve immediately sets up defensive and offensive strategies, darting through the maze, painting walls with precision.

Thomas Miku Binder: calculates optimal wall coverage patterns and directs teammates.

Mercedes Benz drives at lightning speed through wide corridors, leaving yellow trails behind.

Yoshi: jumps high, painting ceiling sections and sneaky corners.

Parcelboy: clumsily firing paintballs in random directions, leaving oddly effective yellow splats.

Spamton: glitching, yelling: “BIG SHOT! CLICK [PAINTBALL]! DEAL! YES! YES! HIT!”

Ritual Rulers:

CassiLyn directs her team efficiently, marking hallways and corners.

Sphinx calculates coverage zones, attempting perfect distribution.

Skrunkly runs around erratically, leaving chaotic purple trails.

Jane Doe snipes from elevated corridors.

Noxor: weaving expertly, hacking into some electronic barriers to temporarily block BIG SHOTS’ paths.

Wembry: panicking, hides often, shoots occasionally.

17M lb marijuana brick: rolls slowly, leaving streaks of purple paint in wide arcs.

Gayery: floats over walls, painting rainbow streaks that partially convert to purple.

Blobie’s Sabotage Activates

Blobie is now fully under the Awakener’s control, entranced by Ashley’s lingering rune. He moves unpredictably.

Phase 1 – Interference: Blobie darts through BIG SHOTS’ lines, shooting yellow paint at walls already painted by his own team, reducing their effective coverage.

Thomas Miku Binder: “Blobie! Stop! That’s sabotage!”

Steve: “He’s being controlled… focus on containment first, paint second.”

Mercedes Benz: revs defensively around Blobie, trying to block him from ruining more walls.

Phase 2 – Direct Chaos: Blobie starts shooting paintballs at his teammates, hitting:

Parcelboy – sent to timeout.

Spamton – glitching and screaming “BIG SHOT! HIT! SYSTEM… ERROR!” while in timeout.

Yoshi – narrowly avoids being hit.

The BIG SHOTS’ formation collapses partially as Steve tries to cover multiple lanes and Blobie’s interference grows.

Ritual Rulers’ Reaction

CassiLyn notices the disarray in the opposing team: “Their coverage is… falling apart!”

Sphinx: “Efficiency spikes in our favor… but their sabotage seems controlled. Someone is… manipulating them.”

Noxor: “Yeah… that’s definitely not natural. Something’s puppeting one of them… I can see it. Blobie.”

Jane Doe: “Finally, some advantage… now watch them implode.”

Skrunkly: “I’m running wild anyway… yay chaos!”

Mid-Challenge – Paranoia Rising

BIG SHOTS try to adjust.

Steve: “Blobie… follow my lead. Paint walls strategically. Ignore the sabotage… mostly.”

Thomas Miku Binder: “I need to recalc… the coverage… his interference… it’s variable now…”

Mercedes Benz: “I can’t block him forever… he’s unpredictable.”

Meanwhile, Blobie mutters fragments:

Blobie/Awakener: “DESTROY… YOUR… COLORS… CHAOS… CONTROL…”

Steve realizes they need a containment strategy mid-match, splitting the team to cover Blobie while still painting.

Ritual Rulers remain cautious:

CassiLyn whispers: “Something’s off… the chaos… it feels deliberate. Blobie’s presence… and maybe Nocturne is influencing us, subtly.”

Noxor: “Yep… subtle manipulations, we need to stay sharp. I’ll block passages if needed.”

Wembry: “I… I feel like we’re being toyed with… agh…”

Endgame – Paint Coverage Tally

BIG SHOTS:

Despite Blobie’s sabotage, Steve, Thomas, and Mercedes Benz salvage enough coverage.

Blobie’s chaotic paint reduces effective territory slightly.

Ritual Rulers:

Nocturne’s subtle guidance and Noxor’s hacks allow them to cover some previously exposed lanes efficiently.

Skrunkly and Gayery create chaos that actually helps coverage by sheer randomness.

Mewo floats above, snapping his fingers:

“Time’s up! Let’s see who splattered the most!”

Tally:

BIG SHOTS barely win by coverage, thanks to Steve and Mercedes Benz carrying, despite Blobie’s sabotage.

Ritual Rulers are frustrated and paranoid, noticing both Blobie’s interference and subtle manipulations of Nocturne.

Aftermath

BIG SHOTS celebrate cautiously:

Steve: “We survived… but Blobie’s becoming too dangerous. He’s a wild card now.”

Thomas Miku Binder: “Containment protocol must escalate. The Awakener’s influence is growing exponentially.”

Mercedes Benz: “I can intercept some interference, but not all. Prepare for next challenge.”

Springtrap: leans in shadows, whispering: “Oh… chaos indeed… delicious chaos.”

Blobie twitches, mutters fragments, flickers with Awakened energy, clearly becoming a growing threat.

Ritual Rulers retreat to camp, paranoia peaking:

CassiLyn: “We need to plan for sabotage. Nocturne… can we trust it?”

Sphinx: “Trust is irrelevant. Observation is critical.”

Noxor: “Yeah… no chance I’m letting them manipulate us next time.”

Wembry: shivering, muttering, “I… I just want it to be over…”
