no, why can almost everything be explained by magic?

Of course I believe in the integrity of science, I am simply stating that humans can't exactly measure EVERYTHING perfectly, but that just because something can't be empirically measured doesn't make it unimportant
We need to understand our own limitations and know that plenty of times studies can make mistakes or judge something incorrectly

For example, i know a study that tried to paint the soviet union as having a better economic system than capitalist countries, but the capitalist countries they used for comparison were very poor African countries, which is an example of cherry picking

So...it's the people and not the science. What they said was correct, you just didn't read the fine print.

The abstract of the study literally said socialism as a whole was better than capitalism as a whole.

I don't support it. Just because I'm his evil clone, doesn't mean I can't share some of his beliefs.

they cant even be consistent anymore smh

I never said I supported capitalism though. Capitalism sucks. The ideal society, is where a true, good, and pure dictator has complete control over their country.

Still: It's the people at fault, not the science.

There are many other cases of "bad science". Certain journals only publishing interesting even if misleading or outright false studies lead to frauds like Avi Loeb becoming popular entirely for being liars. Yes technically we know now that it's the people, my point is that sometimes we don't and it becomes a lot harder to detect.

People need to understand that the way humans do science is not perfect and that our own self interests can often mess with it. Some people are all about "TRUST THE SCIENCE!" as if the science has always been perfect. Scientists used to think eugenics was right and smoking cigarettes was healthy for you. Healthy skepticism (but not too much) goes a long way.

"Science is not perfect" well no shit sherlock.
Skepticism of science has led parents to refuse to give their children vaccines during a measle outbreak, which caused them to, you guessed it, die from measles.

I do not think it’s impossible to both question studies that conclude things which directly go against comment sense, and also to be okay with vaccines.

It's not wrong to question science sometimes, but usually science is right. It's not completely right, but it's pretty accurate. Yes, we did once believe that tobacco was liable medicine, but we advanced past that. As science grows, it gets better, so the further we go along, the less questioning there needs to be. If you don't believe something, then it's best to test it yourself.
