There are six characteristics that define a nazi: The wish to have a dictator in one’s country, nationalism, belittling/justification/glorification of Nazi Germany, antisemitism, xenophobia, and the belief in social Darwinism.

Now let’s look at what democrats believe: The democrats are the ones behind the „no kings“ protest, so they definitely don’t want a dictator. The democrats are open to globalism, so they’re not nationalists. The democrats are most definitely not supporters of Nazi Germany. Some democrats may be antisemitic, but I’m sure most aren‘t. Democrats are the ones saying „refugees welcome“, so they’re definitely not xenophobic. Lastly, democrats most definitely don’t believe in social Darwinism.

Conclusion: Democrats aren’t Nazis.

Oh and btw if you reply with some bullshit answer such as „not reading allat“, you will just prove that conservatives like you are the true ones who can’t stand other opinions.

The modern ones are more extreme though. Like they silence you literally. The old timey ones I prefer are the more civil ones who just happen to have a different opinion

I never heard about a democrat in power actively trying to silence republicans, maybe I‘m just not informed enough though. However, Trump tried to get Jimmy Kimmel‘s show banned and Zohran Mamdani arrested over their political views, and that is actual silencing.

it ain‘t ok to call Republicans that either. At least about half of them.

Some republicans act a bit suspicious, but I‘m sure they‘re against a dictatorship. About the nationalism part, I feel like only about 30% are nationalistic while 70% are just patriotic. They definitely don‘t glaze Nazi Germany, and nowadays they‘re not antisemitic. Now to the xenophobia part, a lot of republicans are against illegal immigrants, but not against immigrants in general, although there are exceptions. Lastly, just like Democrats, Republicans don‘t believe in social Darwinism.

Conclusion: The average Republican can stretch from not being a Nazi at all to being a low level nazi.
