Basically, Carter (the character you see on the image) is a hyper-smart kid, especially in engineering. He’s going through high school, his freshman year, before it’s interrupted.
A war machine lands in Siberia, of unknown origin. The Russian army tries to fight it, fails miserably. Same fate to the US. The war machine, named “The Virus” is a Ten foot humanoid robot, with three pairs of wings (50 feet long each), three arms with various weaponry, a chest hatch capable of launching lasers or neutrons, and a nuclear power supply.
He throws together a plan, but reached a halt as to how to get to The Virus. This was nullified when the machine flew to the americas. Landing in Texas, The Virus wreaked havoc in Dallas. And thus Carter and his friends fight. No spoilers from here lol
