I’m just assuming it’s a parent thing. I agree that you shouldn’t really have a phone until you’re a teenager. At that point it becomes necessary whether you’re going to make plans with friends, get a job, or the event of an emergency. Your profile states you are 17, you should have one by now, even if it’s one of those old flip phones.

Ah okay. You also aren’t going to be doing yourself any favors by borrowing someone else’s linkedIn account. The company you’re trying to reply to might contact the wrong person and potentially hurt both your reputation and the other person’s reputation as the person they tried to contact was not who they were expecting. Best to set one up, and get yourself a phone if possible.
