v the science; superglue relies on creating a polymer chain that roots in crevices in the surfaces. Polymers have negative and positive atoms. Once the polymers take root, their negativeley charged atoms activate and attract the positive atoms, dragging the polymer with it. Oxygen is slightly negatively charged, so the water molecules latch on to the chain, which functions as a substitute attractor, which completes the chain so the glue can harden. yay you actually read this my day is made :)
