So, there's a playtime glitch in Steam that Valve themselves won't fix. But they may fix it now.
They haven't fixed it because they don't want to design fixes for such minimal problems, rather, they want to focus on fixing more important bugs.
I have developed a playtime fixing system MYSELF that Valve can "easily" port into Steam. I'm proud of myself that I, myself have developed a system for this minimal problem (I stressed about that glitch).
