All of this is just my opinion by the way and it worked for me a year or so ago

The most obvious thing to do is refrain from personal insults, because if you haven't convinced the stream that you're innocent of something then randomly lashing out leaves a bad taste in everyone's mouth and you just look like a jerk

You can try to be reasonable, admitting your mistakes while trying to convince people of your view. Though if everyone hates you already this won't work and th best thing you can do is wait a while for you to become forgotten. That's what I did once.

And whatever you do, DONT use alts to downvote criticism *cough cough* toady *cough cough*

Basically extending from the last tip, don't say shit like "f**k all of you" or claim that everything was ragebait or a joke, you look immature, that's the simplest way to say it.

If you KNOW you messed up bad then the best thing to do is apologize and take a break for a while and let the drama cool off
